Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2/3 cup of nonfat milk

  • Preheat the oven to 350o. Coat the bread pan using cooking spray.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Mix milk, vanilla, eggs, and canola oil. Mix the contents of both bowls. Now add bananas.
  • Pour 2/3 of the batter in loaf pan. Bake for about 1 hour. Then keep it in freezer. Slice it into 14 slices when ready.
  • Mix egg batter and coat each slice with it. Cook on stove until it is light brown.

Nutrition
It has 460 calories, with 9 grams protein, 85 grams carbohydrates, 1.7 gram fiber, and 11 grams fat.

Cranberry Walnut Muesli

This is a quick one and provides good nutrition. It is an ideal breakfast when you want to fuel your body before an early workout session.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup dry oatmeal
  • ¼ cup cranberry juice
  • 1/3 cup strawberry yogurt
  • 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
  • Some craisins
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Some chopped walnuts

Instructions
Mix oatmeal, cranberry juice, cinnamon, and yogurt in a bowl. Put it into a parfait cup. Add walnut and raisin toppings.

Nutrition
It has 390 calories, with 8.5 grams fat, 13 grams protein, 66 grams carbohydrates, and 4 grams fiber.

If you want the same recipe, but with a lower calorie value, here are some changes to make another version of it:

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup light vanilla yogurt
  • 1/3 cup light strawberry yogurt
  • 1/3 cup dry oatmeal

Instructions
Mix them all like in the previous recipe, but leave out cranberry juice.

It has 20 calories, with 7 grams fat, 12 grams protein, 37 grams carbohydrates, and 4 grams fiber.
